Our accessible family cabin

Our family-friendly 2-bedroom accessible cabin features a convenient ramp for easy entry, while our other cabins typically have 2-4 steps leading up to them. For those seeking ample parking space, we offer cabins with generously sized parking areas. These spots boast flat concrete surfaces, providing plenty of room to maneuver, and are conveniently situated directly in front of the cabins.

Do you cater for people who are deaf or have low hearing?

Absolutely! We are prepared to accommodate individuals who are deaf or have low hearing. Our team is dedicated to providing support to ensure your safety and confidence throughout your stay.

Do you cater for people who have limited mobility?

The family cabin is equipped with a ramp for effortless entry, whereas other cabins have ascending 2 to 4 steps. All cabins come with ample parking space, with flat concrete areas right in front for easy maneuverability. To enquire about a booking for the accessible cabin, please contact us, or check availability online here.  

Regarding our camping sites, we provide amenities accessible via ramps, and you can acquire the access code from the reception. Our accessible restroom facilities feature a bathtub, shower basin, and toilet. Furthermore, our laundry amenities offer outdoor tubs at waist height, equipped with hot and cold running water.

Do you cater for people who use wheelchairs or mobility scooters?

The family cabin features a ramp for easy access, while other cabins have 2 to 4 steps leading up to them. We offer cabins with spacious car parking areas, featuring flat concrete surfaces directly in front for convenient mobility. To reserve these specific cabins, please call ahead.

For camping sites, our amenities are accessible with ramp access, and you can obtain the code to access them from reception. Our accessible toilet facilities include a bathtub, shower basin, and toilet. Additionally, our laundry facilities have accessible tubs located outside the building, with hot and cold running water, at waist height.

Do you cater for people with cognitive disabilities or people on the Autism Spectrum?

Yes, we do cater to people with cognitive disabilities and individuals on the Autism Spectrum. We’re committed to ensuring everyone feels welcome and supported during their stay with us. Our facilities include a quieter camping area with grass, tables, and friendly chickens and ducks, providing a peaceful retreat.

We’re also building an accessible entertainment deck around a tree, scheduled for completion by June 30th.

Our sensory-rich veggie garden and mineral collection offer additional enriching experiences for all guests. 

Have any of the staff undergone disability awareness training?

Yes, we are currently in progress with disability training.

Do you have discounts/packages for a carer?

Please reach out to us to discuss. We will assess on a case by case basis as to how and if we are able to offer a discount.

Can you accommodate for assistance animals?

Yes, we are a pet friendly park. Normally we have $20 fee for pets, however this is not charged for assistance animals. Please provide paperwork prior to arrival or upon check in.

Do you provide a secure area with shade and water for service animals?

Yes. We have stations suitable for assistance animals. If there are specific requirements we are more than happy to help – please reach out to us prior to arrival or during your stay.

Do you provide bowls, bedding etc for service animals?

We have numerous watering stations for pets throughout the park. Please provide your own bedding for your animals. 

Do you have a reception/public entryway?

Yes, however the entry door to reception is currently not wheelchair accessible. Please phone ahead of arrival to arrange a comfortable check in experience. However if you are unable to phone ahead our staff are always readily available for assistance and can come to you for a smooth check in.

Is there seating available at reception?

There is seating available outside of reception.

Is there a lower counter at reception?

We are in the process of building a lower counter at reception and will be ready to welcome you soon.

Is there a clip board to allow check in while seated?

Yes.

Do you have a tablet with text to voice or pen and paper available at reception to aid with communication?

Yes we have pen and paper if required and we have access to a tablet if needed.

Do you have a picture boards available at reception to aid with communication?

Currently no.

Is a hearing loop fitted to the reception area?

No.

Is the lighting in the reception even and glare free to aid lip readers?

The lighting in the reception area isn’t great, however we are happy to assist in anyway that we can.

Do you offer large print information sheets and registration forms?

There are no forms required to fill out. If you require a larger print maps, please ask reception for assistance.

Do you offer a facility map and information in Braille?

Currently we don’t however, once again, we are more than happy to assist in any way that we can.

If you have steps, is there a step free map or guide?

Majority of the park is step free. The park facilities are all step free.

Do you offer guests a familiarisation tour?

We explain everything upon check in, however if you would like extra assistance, we are always happy to help

Are the accessible facilities locked?

Yes the accessible amenities are locked, a code will be provided upon check in
